MERITON X THE GALLERY, ROSEBERY.

An event to celebrate the newest Meriton development, THE GALLERY, ROSBERY. The event styling followed the theme of ‘Candyland’ to link back to Confectioners Way, where the event was held and where the new development is located. The colour palette was drawn from the project’s buildings including mint, watermelon and dusty grey with a touch of metallic rose gold. A hot pink carpet lead guests down Confectioners Way to a pop-up marquee that was transformed into a vibrant space of colour. A caricaturist, laughing clown heads and live musicians entertained the guests while they wondered through Candyland. A main feature was a 5m x 5m hanging balloon canopy that was positioned in the middle with chiffon drapes and festoon lights spread across the clear roof. Filling the space was a mix of velvet lounges in mint and pink tones matched with white marble tables and bars. Florals were bold and bright continuing the pink and colourful palette with bespoke dusty grey candles weaved through. A champagne tower offered guests pink champagne topped with fairy floss on arrival while dapper waiters in candy-stripped bow ties and suspenders served roaming canapés throughout the night including stripped paper cone salt and pepper calamari, mini beef sliders, swirl potatoes on a stick with truffle salt and fresh hot dogs served from a cart where guests could pick their favourite toppings. For the sweet tooth, guests enjoyed crêpes to order as well as a nostalgic popcorn cart serving buttery popcorn in branded boxes as well as a 2m lolly bar sitting in the centre of the space filled with colour blocked lollies and chocolates for guests to fill up and take home. To finish the night, guests were offered espresso martinis served in little milk bottles topped with small cinnamon doughnuts. Overall the mood and aesthetic of the night was playful, colourful and vibrant.
